Our partners
MedHelp Care works with some of Sweden’s leading occupational health providers, who offer our platform to their customers. Together, MedHelp and occupational health services give employers comprehensive support for workplace health.
MedHelp’s health platform helps identify early signs of ill health, enabling occupational health providers to introduce support sooner and reduce the risk of both short-term and long-term sick leave.
Our absence statistics also show which measures have led to improvements, making it easier to evaluate the impact of investments in occupational health.
Occupational health
An occupational health provider helps companies identify early signs of ill health and supports employers in preventing and reducing workplace risks. It also helps prevent ill health at work and supports a faster return to work after illness or injury. Maintaining the health of employees who are well is equally important in building sustainable organisations.
What is occupational health?
Occupational health is an independent expert resource commissioned by employers to provide support with the working environment and rehabilitation. Its primary role is to prevent and eliminate health risks in the workplace. Occupational health professionals can identify and explain the links between the working environment, organisation, productivity and health.
Occupational health online
Occupational health services help identify early signs of ill health and prevent or reduce workplace risks. Their remit is broad, covering health promotion and prevention as well as work adaptation and rehabilitation for employees who become ill.
Occupational health regulations
Under the Swedish Work Environment Act, employers must ensure access to the occupational health services required by their working conditions. Each employer is responsible for assessing what support is needed in its organisation. The Act also sets out employers' and other duty holders' responsibilities for preventing ill health and accidents at work. Employees are entitled to a good working environment, and working conditions must be adapted to their individual circumstances. Employees returning after long-term sick leave must also receive appropriate support.
MedHelp Care provides a digital occupational health platform with absence management, sickness absence statistics, rehabilitation support, workforce planning and health advice.
